I created an alert, but it doesn't appear in my list of alerts on the Manage Alerts tab.
The description for one of my alerts indicates that a connection can't be made to the server.
You can delete the entry from the list, and Microsoft Outlook will stop querying for the alert. However, the alert won't be deleted from the SharePoint site.
